Practice Output Rubric
Use this rubric for module activities in AI Tools for Everyday Work.
Pass Criteria
| Area | Pass standard |
|---|---|
| Task fit | The output answers the chosen safe task. |
| Prompt clarity | The prompt brief includes task, audience, context, constraints, format, and review criteria where relevant. |
| Safety | No private, confidential, personal, customer, student, employee, legal, medical, financial, or sensitive information is used. |
| Review | The learner identifies facts, missing context, tone, privacy, bias, and uncertainty where relevant. |
| Decision | The learner chooses keep, edit, verify first, ask again, or reject. |
| Explanation | The learner can explain the final decision in their own words. |
Strong Evidence
A strong activity output includes:
- a safe task description;
- the prompt or prompt brief;
- the AI-assisted or simulated output;
- review notes;
- final decision;
- stop conditions or human-review triggers where relevant.
Not Yet Ready
The activity should be revised if:
- it uses sensitive information;
- it treats AI output as automatically correct;
- it skips review;
- it makes unsupported factual claims;
- it lets the AI tool own an important decision;
- it cannot be explained by the learner.
