Module 11 Summary

What this module established

Use interaction when readers' second questions differ. When they all want the same follow-up, answer it in the chart - every control is a decision the reader must make, and most make it by not touching anything.

Carry forward

• Put something in the hover that is not on the axes. A hover repeating the coordinates is a delay with no payload.
• The default state is what almost everyone sees. Set it to the view carrying the finding, and put the filter state in the title.
• Inline the library for anything emailed or archived. A CDN export is a blank page behind a firewall.

Before moving on

Move on when your default view carries the finding, your export works offline, and you have answered honestly whether the interactivity replaces a decision.
