What this module established

Retrieval bounds what the model saw, not what it writes. Extrapolation adds a detail the context never mentions, merging turns a refund policy into a refund-and-exchange policy, and both cite correctly. Meanwhile a three-year-old chunk ranks exactly as well as the current one, because similarity has no opinion about time.

Carry forward

• Numeric disagreement between top chunks is detectable with a regular expression. Report both with dates rather than resolving silently.
• Term overlap against the cited chunk is crude, imperfect, and cheap enough to run on every answer - which beats a perfect check that runs on a sample.
• Escalation criteria are computable in advance, and the reasons matter as much as the routing.

Before moving on

Move on when all three detectors run together, you can report how often each fires, and a contradiction you planted in the corpus was caught.
