Module 04 Summary
Module ID: PAW-M04
What this module established
A role instruction changes register, not knowledge. "You are an expert" makes output sound more authoritative without making it more correct, which raises the risk rather than lowering it.
Carry forward
- Describe the reader rather than the speaker. A reader description is checkable; a role is not.
- Ask a viewpoint for questions, not verdicts. The questions are the value; the conclusions are a guess about people nobody consulted.
- Voice is carried by specifics — examples chosen, things refused, sentence length — not by style adjectives.
- Fluent and certain are not evidence. Confidence is uniform whether the output is right or wrong.
Before moving on
Move on when you can hold the same facts steady across three readers and explain every difference.
