What this module established

A table with a risk column cannot quietly skip the risks; a paragraph can, and usually does. Choosing format from the reader's decision is what makes gaps visible.

Carry forward

• Ask for the outline before the draft on anything longer than a short message. Editing a polished draft built on the wrong structure is harder than starting again.
• The assumptions and unknowns sections are routinely the most useful part of an output, and are almost never produced unless requested.
• Ask for options on a named axis, with what each gives up and what becomes harder later — and include doing nothing.
• Recommendations are reasonable for reversible, low-stakes decisions where you hold the facts. Otherwise ask for reasoning.

Move on when you can name the format a request needs from the decision the reader has to make.
