Module 09 Activity
Activity ID: PAW-M09-A01 Estimated active time: 40-50 minutes
Purpose
Three patterns for the tasks you actually repeat, in the standard shape. A pattern is a reusable structure with a known failure attached, not a phrase to copy.
Steps
- List your five most frequent AI-assisted tasks and group them into families.
- Take the three most frequent and start from the closest of the four family patterns.
- Fill slots, fixed rules, output spec, review level and known failure for each.
- Add a reason note to any rule that is not self-explanatory.
- Test each pattern on two different instances of its task.
- Generalise anything that turned out to be written for one instance.
Evidence to hand in
- The task list, grouped into families.
- Three patterns in the standard shape.
- The library index with versions and dates.
- Notes from the second test run of each.
Review checklist
- Each pattern names when not to use it.
- Each carries a known failure and its guard.
- Each was tested on two different instances.
- Any unusual rule has a reason note.
