Purpose

The capstone. One task of yours taken all the way — canvas, prompt, evaluation loop, gates, and a template a colleague can run without asking you anything.

Steps

1. Choose the task with the selection sheet: monthly or more, real reader, passes the privacy gate.
2. Write the success statement before building anything.
3. Fill the prompt design canvas on one page, task and decision first.
4. Write prompt v1 from the canvas and run it without editing.
5. Run the evaluation loop: three runs, one change, three more.
6. Attach the gates and walk a real case through.
7. Package all eleven sections and hand it to a colleague to run unaided.

Evidence to hand in

• The selection sheet and success statement.
• The filled canvas.
• Every prompt version, with what changed between them.
• The evaluation loop with scores.
• The gate sheet and walk-through.
• The packaged template, and every question your colleague asked.

Review checklist

• The canvas fits on one page and every row appears in the prompt.
• Versions were changed one element at a time.
• The template names when not to use it.
• A colleague ran it without asking you anything, or their questions have been fixed.
• The improvement log is running.
