What this module established

Report the mean, the median and a measure of spread together. When the mean and the median disagree, the gap is itself the finding — one unusual value moved the mean of seven days by 200 and the median by 20.

Carry forward

• Always carry n() through a grouped summary. A group of one will top the ranking often enough to matter, and without the count the ranking reads as settled.
• The mean of the group means is not the overall mean unless the groups are the same size.
• A cross-tab has two percentages. Row percentages compare performance; column percentages describe where a burden sits. Say which you used.
• A report table is sorted, rounded and renamed on purpose, and it keeps the denominators.
