Assessment 3 Diagnose and prepare a release
After module 09. Provisional time: 30–60 minutes.
Six questions, five points each. Attempt without opening the answer guide. You may inspect your own files and run tests. Save your answers in a local text file or learning log. Do not submit real information or publish a site.
- Your page is readable but completely unstyled after moving it. Give a diagnosis sequence that checks evidence before editing design rules.
- Explain why 48rem in this course is a design breakpoint rather than a reliable test of whether someone is using a tablet.
- A focus outline was removed because it looked untidy. Propose a repair and describe how to verify it.
- A local result page says “You are booked.” There is no receiving server. Rewrite the claim and explain the technical boundary.
- Prepare a release-test record with at least four actual checks and two explicit gaps. Include browser and size or zoom information where relevant.
- Explain why copying your project to a fresh folder is useful, why a local server is not public deployment, and why this course stops before publishing.
Use the learner guide’s 2 + 2 + 1 scoring convention. Suggested readiness is 24/30 with no critical form-data or accessibility misunderstanding. Open the separate answer guide after attempting.
