Independent review summary

Reviewed on 2026-10-14 by a separate code and pedagogy reviewer. The review covered the ten lessons, thirty practice/solution pairs, entry diagnostic, three assessments and guides, capstone brief/reference alignment, shared source, checkpoint progression, dependency evidence and check scope.

Substantive repairs made

• Aligned practice-form narrative with the actual Sample learner and one-to-four places contract.
• Clarified that shared-source edits affect several checkpoints and that malformed imported JSON fails before runtime parsing.
• Added concise explanations for predicates, as const, indexed access, keyof, Partial and Record before learners inspect those helper types.
• Replaced an early unexplained utility type with an explicit props shape.
• Corrected successful-empty fixture wording so it does not suggest nonexistent filter controls.
• Prevented skip navigation during loading/error from overwriting a hash detail route.
• Prevented a failed initial storage read from immediately overwriting unread stored data.
• Corrected focus after committed form errors/reset and after a saved-card removal.
• Added direct detail-to-detail practice reset coverage rather than relying only on unmounting through Explore.
• Matched the integrated reference to the capstone’s clear-search, clear-saved and selectable-fixture requirements, including rapid selection and obsolete rejection tests.

Review evidence and limits

The reviewer independently ran type-checking, reference tests, production builds and the intentionally failing learner checks during review. The final independent rerun passed 75 reference tests across eight files, strict type-checking and the thirteen-entry production build. The reader check passed 64 HTML pages, 550 local references and 738 checks with zero errors. Exact results also live in code-verification.json, check.log and content-check.json. SVGs were independently rasterized and inspected; no clipping or overlap was found. Reader local links and structure are checked separately in content-check.json.

The review is a source/automated/static-asset review. Real-browser interaction, responsive layout, zoom, mobile devices, screen readers, target-host integration and beginner pedagogy pilot remain unverified. No publication occurred.
