Purpose

Create and review one AI-assisted writing sample from safe notes.

Use safe, fictional or public material throughout. Nothing in this activity requires a real name, account, record or figure.

Activity Steps

Part 1: Write five safe bullet notes.

Keep them rough. The point is to see what the tool adds to notes, so polished notes would hide the effect.

Part 2: Create a prompt brief for a draft message.

Include purpose, audience, tone, length, and one line saying what must not be added.

Part 3: Review the draft for facts, tone, privacy, and meaning changes.

Check every fact against your five bullets, then compare the draft's meaning against what you intended to say.

Part 4: Revise the message yourself or with a follow-up prompt.

Fix it in your own words where the meaning matters. Use a follow-up only for shape and length.

Part 5: Write a short explanation of what changed and why.

Say which changes should have been in the brief. Those lines are what you reuse.

What good looks like

A strong response shows the draft, the changes, and at least one line that will go into next time's brief.
