AI Tools for Everyday Work / Module 1

Module 1

Module 1 Summary: Everyday AI Tool Mindset

Module ID: AIT-M01 Status: Source package created; public shell pending

What learners should remember

AI tools can help with everyday drafting, organising, summarising, planning, and review. They do not own the final decision.

The core workflow is:

  1. Ask.
  2. Review.
  3. Improve.
  4. Decide.

Before using AI, learners should decide whether a task is a good fit, needs careful use, or should be avoided unless approved expert review exists.

Evidence produced

  • Personal AI-use boundary note.
  • Personal everyday AI task list.
  • Task usefulness map.
  • Knowledge check score.

Ready for Module 2 when

The learner can:

  • explain why AI output must be reviewed;
  • name three tasks that are not safe for casual AI use;
  • choose a safe practice task;
  • state what information should not be shared; and
  • use the ask, review, improve, decide pattern.

Next module

Module 2 teaches clear instructions and prompt briefs. The learner will turn a safe task into a better request with task, audience, context, constraints, output format, and review criteria.
