AI Tools for Everyday Work / Module 12

Module 12

Create a final workflow note and next-step plan

Unit ID: AIT-M12-U05 Estimated active time: 15-20 minutes

The main idea

The course ends with a repeatable safe workflow.

Not a prompt, and not an output. A workflow: the brief, the review checklist, the stop conditions, and the decision step, in an order you can follow again.

Why this matters

The workflow is the durable part. Prompts age, tools change, and the habit of briefing, reviewing and deciding survives both.

Safe example

You save a template, stop conditions, review checklist, and next improvement.

Four artefacts. The next improvement is what stops the package being finished and forgotten.

Better working habit

Record when to reuse the workflow and when not to use it.

The second half is the safety rule. Without it, the workflow will be applied to the first task that looks similar.

What to watch for

Do not reuse the workflow for higher-risk tasks without redesign.

It was built for a low-risk task and its checks are sized for that. A higher-risk task needs the Module 11 review triggers added first.

Mini practice

Assemble the capstone package.

Then write the one line you would tell a colleague who wanted to use it.

Check yourself

Before moving on, answer:

  • Could I run this workflow again next month from the package alone?
  • Does it say when not to use it?
  • What is my next improvement, and when will I make it?
